May 26 through May 29, the Gaming team from Mimer AI Factory joined developers, publishers, and technology innovators at Nordic Game in Malmö, one of Europe’s leading conferences for the games industry.

The event provided an opportunity to connect with studios of all sizes. From early-stage concept validation to advanced content creation, conversations throughout the conference highlighted a growing appetite for practical AI solutions that help studios innovate faster and compete globally.

The showstopper: AI-powered player intelligence

One of the standout demonstrations at the event was Prakash Chandra Chhipa’s pre-launch player intelligence platform, powered by agentic AI and multimodal large language models trained on real game reviews.

The platform helps studios validate game concepts before investing heavily in development. Specialist AI agents synthesize realistic player personas and simulate how different audiences respond to game mechanics, providing insights into design risks and marketing opportunities long before launch.

“The response was overwhelming,” said Chhipa. “Studios immediately saw they could test player reactions early instead of waiting for launch. Indie developers loved having a way to validate ideas without extensive playtesting.”

The technology sparked strong interest from both independent and established studios looking for new ways to reduce development risk and better understand their audiences.

“I’m thrilled to have met the gaming community at Nordic Game Conference 2026 and loved exchanging ideas on how AI can help studios to solve their challenges.”

Helping studios access AI and compute resources

Mimer AI Factory’s Petra Dalunde and Björn Flintberg also took the stage to showcase how game developers can leverage Mimer’s free access to advanced computing resources and AI application expertise.

Their presentation focused on helping studios overcome one of the most significant barriers to AI adoption: access to the infrastructure and expertise needed to experiment, develop, and scale AI solutions.

The session included remarks from Antti Marttikainen, CEO of Virtual Dawn, a platform for creating and selling VR and XR assets.

Virtual Dawn is currently in its second collaboration with Mimer AI Factory and is using Mimer’s free compute resources to further develop and improve its own large language model.

“If Europe wants to play with the big boys, and be part of the game, there has to be the kind of support from organisations like Mimer. Mimer is trying to bridge the gap between Europe and China and the US.”

Building the future of AI in gaming

The strong interest from studios, technology providers, and industry leaders throughout Nordic Game reinforced a clear message: AI is rapidly becoming an essential part of the game development toolkit.

For Mimer AI Factory, the event was an opportunity not only to showcase innovative projects and successful collaborations, but also to continue building connections across the Nordic and European games ecosystem.

As AI capabilities continue to evolve, Mimer remains committed to helping game studios access the expertise, compute resources, and support they need to turn ambitious ideas into reality.
