During WARA PS Data Collection Week-2026 in late May, we had the opportunity to engage with a dynamic ecosystem of startups, research groups, and industry leaders working at the forefront of autonomous systems and AI. Mimer AI Factory Autonomous Systems team, Sarder Fakhrul Abedin and Trustworthy AI team, Kabir Fahria at Mimer visited the event and connected with a diverse set of teams.
The event showcased a strong momentum in drone-based applications, with a shared technical focus across participants on object detection, target tracking, and collaborative multi-drone operations. From swarm intelligence and autonomous mission execution to real-time perception pipelines, it was clear that the field is rapidly evolving.


Beyond individual demonstrations, one of the most striking observations was the growing shift toward multi-agent thinking. Many teams are no longer building isolated drone solutions but are instead designing systems where drones, ground vehicles, and maritime platforms operate collectively as intelligent agents.
We also observed a strong demand for improved AI model performance. Many teams highlighted challenges with object detection robustness and expressed a need for greater GPU resources and better training datasets. This opens up clear opportunities for collaboration around data, model development, and trustworthy AI, where Mimer can contribute significant value. Encouragingly, discussions with participants revealed a genuine interest in MIMER, particularly around its potential to support agent-based architectures, and HPC.
Overall, the visit exhibited an exciting direction for the ecosystem: moving from isolated capabilities toward coordinated, intelligent multi-agent systems, a vision that MIMER is well positioned to support.
