On 18 February we arranged a successful event in Luleå which gathered around 80 people, mainly from the industry and AI companies, to present the opportunities offered by the Mimer AI Factory.

Large companies such as SSAB, LKAB, Hitachi, and Epiroc presented the challenges they need to solve in order to achieve their goals. Much of the development is driven by electrification, automation, and digitalisation, where AI is a major enabler. We also had smaller companies showcasing various types of solutions that they are developing with AI models in order to solve the problems faced by larger companies.

The presentation of Mimer and the offering that we have and are developing was received with great interest. Several companies began discussing with each other during the networking sessions how they could boost development by participating in Mimer, improving their existing services and products and creating new ones to address the challenges raised at the beginning of the event.

It is exciting to start working with the node in Luleå, where we are combining existing ecosystems with the new opportunities offered by Mimer and forming many different partnerships that will benefit Sweden and Europe.
